A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash with a car near a castle in the Highlands.
Police were called to the collision on the A82 south of Drumnadrochit near the turn-off for Urquhart Castle around 4.05pm on Friday.
A man, the motorcyclist, was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness with non-life threatening injuries.
The road was closed but reopened around 6pm.
Police thanked road users for their patience.
A Police Scotland statement read: “The A82 south of Drumnadrochit has re-opened following a crash involving a car and a motorcycle near Urquhart Castle that happened around 4.05pm on Friday, June 13, 2025.
“A man, the motorcyclist, was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness with non-life threatening injuries.
“Road users are thanked for their patience.”
