A remote restaurant in the Highlands is looking for a couple – or two friends – to join its team.
Corrour Station House, around 30 miles east of Fort William, is advertising for staff ahead of reopening on March 25.
The railway station at Corrour is best known for featuring in the 1995 movie Trainspotting, when Renton, Spud, Sickboy and Tommy go for a day trip to the area – a 57,000-acre Highland estate on the edge of Rannoch Moor.
The Station House restaurant, and attached B&B rooms, is currently closed for the winter, but will be open between March and October.
Corrour is the highest railway station in the UK, located on the West Highland Line. The Station House is accessible only by train or a 20-mile walk.
Customers and daily visitors can only arrive at Corrour by train, on foot or by cycling, as vehicles are not allowed to enter the estate.
In a post on Twitter, a message advertising for staff reads: “Hospitality experience preferred. If you wish to apply please send over a brief covering email and CV to – stationhouse@corrour.co.uk”
