The public is being urged to avoid a street in Inverness as firefighters tackle a building fire.
Emergency services were called to Post Office Avenue around 12.30pm on Saturday after the fire broke out near two restaurants.
Four fire engines have been sent to the scene, and the surrounding area has been closed by the police.
Locals have reported seeing flames coming from a restaurant on the street.
A spokeperson for Police Scotland said: “Post Office Avenue, Church Street and Queensgate in Inverness are closed following a report of a fire at a premises on Queensgate, around 12.35pm on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
“Emergency services are in attendance and there are no reports of any injuries.
“Members of the public are being asked to avoid the area.”
