Police in Inverness are appealing for information after a man broke into Tesco by “smashing a glass panel of a fire exit door”.
Officers said between 1am and 1.15am on Saturday, October 26 entry was gained to the store on Dores Road after the panel of the door was smashed in.
A quantity of items were also stolen from the store.
The man is described to be wearing a dark coloured tracksuit with a white emblem, black trainers, a blue snood, white gloves and had a blue rucksack on his back.
Detective Constables at Inverness said: “Our enquiries are ongoing whereby we are continuing to gather and study CCTV from in and around the local area to assist us in establishing more information on this crime.
“We are asking anyone who may have heard or saw anything suspicious in the area or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of the suspect that could assist our investigation to please contact 101 with reference number 0232 of October 26, 2024.
“Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.”
