Police are speaking with drivers on the A830 near Fort William as the search for a missing man enters its second week.
Dennis Sinsheimer was seen leaving accommodation premises off the N8004 in Banavie at 8.33am on Tuesday, September 29.
The 33-year-old walked west along the A830 and was captured on CCTV at Annat Point Industrial Estate at 10.20am on the same day.
Police believe he continued walking west along a pavement adjacent to the A830 after passing the industrial estate.
Extensive enquiries have been carried out since Dennis was reported missing, with officers conducting searches of the surrounding area and nearby woodland.
Mountain rescue and coastguard teams have also assisted in the search.
Dennis requires regular medication and may appear to the public to be confused and disoriented.
Officers are stopping vehicles on the A830 a week on from when Dennis was last seen to ask drivers if they have any relevant information or dash-cam footage.
Dennis is described as 5ft 11ins tall and of slim build with dark coloured hair and a beard.
He was wearing a grey jacket, grey jeans, a blue tie-dye style t-shirt and white Nike trainers when he was last seen.
Inspector Craig Johnstone said: “It has been seven days since Dennis was last seen, and as time passes, we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“We are asking members of the public to think back, have you been driving in this area within the past week and possibly noticed a man matching Dennis’ description?
“We are appealing for your assistance and unformed patrols are looking to speak to anyone who can assist and help trace Dennis.”
Those with information are asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 1678 of September 29, 2026.
