Police have launched an investigation into the death of a 16-year-old boy at a property in Shetland.
Officers were made aware of the “sudden death” of a schoolboy in the Gulberwick area of the island around 10.45pm on Saturday, September 14.
His death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.45pm on Saturday, September 14, 2024 we were made aware of the sudden death of a 16-year-old male youth at a property in the Gulberwick area of Shetland.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
