Police appeal for man who disappeared while biking in the Highlands

Police appeal in search for missing man in the Scottish Highlands Police Scotland

Police are appealing for information in the search for a man missing in the Scottish Highlands.

Gerard Storey, 64, was reported missing whilst undertaking the Cross-Ross walk between Ardgay and Ullapool on his hand bike.

He was last seen leaving the Ardgay area to begin his journey at around 10.45am on Tuesday, April 19.

There are growing concerns for Mr Storey, who is described as being 6ft, of average build, with a bald/shaven head and a full white beard.

He was last seen wearing a silver cycling helmet, a yellow cycling jacket, a black waterproof and was wearing Crocs.

Mr Storey was cycling a yellow XCR hand cycling bike.

Anyone who may have seen Gerard, or who has any information on his/her whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2929 of 20 April, 2022.
