Police are investigating after alcohol was stolen from a shop in Inverness during a break-in.

Officers were called to the shop on Culloden Road around 10.15pm on Friday following the break-in.

A quantity of alcohol was taken.

The suspect is described as being a man, of medium build, wearing a face covering, a hooded jacket, grey trousers, and black and white trainers.

Detective sergeant Joanna Macleod said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact us.

“We also ask anyone who may have been driving in the area at the time with dash-cam footage to come forward.”
