Police have launched an appeal to help find a life-size cut out of an officer after it was stolen from outside a Highland school.

The cardboard figure had been securely fixed to a lampost on the main road in front of Reay Primary School in Reay, Caithness.

The cut out police officer had been placed there to deter speeding through the village.

But between 10am and 4pm on Friday, September 10, it went missing.

Police Scotland are urging anyone with any relevant information regarding the theft to get in touch.
