A couple had a close encounter with a pod of dolphins in Lamlash Bay on August 31.
Yvonne Weir and her partner had heard rumours of dolphins being spotted in the bay and decided to go check for themselves.
Yvonne said: “I had heard that they were in the bay, but was surprised to see them up close.
“They were jumping and playing in the sea for hours.
“They were so curious about us in our boat and were following us about the bay happily playing.
“It was such a lovely site.”
