Robin flies into photographer's car amid Arctic scenes across Scotland

Award-winning snapper Jeff J Mitchell was shooting in Glencoe amid snow and plunging temperatures.

An award-winning photographer was visited by a curious robin while out on location capturing Arctic scenes in Scotland.

Getty Images staffer Jeff J Mitchell was in Glencoe amid widespread frost, strong winds, and substantial snowfall.

Scotland recorded its coldest night of the year so far with -14C is reported in Dalwhinnie.

The robin perched on Mr Mitchell’s wing mirror before inching closer onto the door of his car.

Then the little bird flew into the photographer’s car, perching on his laptop and cameras.
