Parts of the A9 have been closed after a car crashed into a recovery vehicle on the road.
Emergency services were called to a section of the road between Ralia and Dalwhinnie at around 6.30pm on Thursday.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We received a report of a crash involving a car and a recovery vehicle on the A9 at the Glentrium junction around 6.30pm.
“The A9 is closed between Ralia and Dalwhinnie with diversions in place using the A86 and the A889.”
Drivers have been urged to avoid the area.
