A mountain climber was airlifted off a Munro on Tuesday after he fell almost 50ft in Skye.
The Skye Mountain Rescue Team was dispatched after they received reports of a man falling about 15m off the north-west ridge of Sgùrr nan Eag.
Due to the low cloud, a Coastguard helicopter was only able to lift ten team members partway up the hill. The group continued on foot to the injured climber.

Treatment was provided to multiple injuries and the man was placed on a stretcher. He was then carried to the lochan at Coire Ghrunnda.
After most of the cloud lifted, the injured climber was airlifted to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
