Traffic is at a standstill after a crash in the Highlands closed a major road on Monday afternoon.
At around 2.30pm on August 28, police were called to a report of a crash involving two vehicles on the A87 road south of Shiel Bridge.
The road is closed in both directions and drivers are facing diversions of more than 100 miles.
Traffic Scotland has warned road users to allow additional time for their journeys.
There are no details of any injuries as a result of the collision.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.30pm on Monday, August 28, 2023, we received a report of a crash involving two vehicles on the A87 south of Shiel Bridge.
“Emergency services are in attendance. The road is closed in both directions.”
