A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash on the A9 in the Highlands.
The collision happened at Berriedale Braes at around 11.40pm on Thursday night and did not involve any other vehicles.
The crash was the second reported on the road on Thursday evening after a car and a recovery vehicle collided at the Glentruim junction, much further south, at 6.30pm.
Six people were rushed to hospital in that incident, while the drivers of both vehicles were arrested.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said the road at Berriedale Braes was closed to allow for recovery and reopened around 2.50am on Friday.
