A motorcyclist is in hospital after a crash involving a car on the A82 with the air ambulance called to the scene.
Officers said the major road at Altnafeadh near Glencoe was closed in both directions after a collision between two vehicles at around 2.50pm on Friday.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital following the incident near the mountain’s visitor centre.
An air ambulance was sent to the crash with emergency services remaining on scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.50pm on Friday, July 5 we received a report of a crash involving a car and a motorbike on the A82 near Glencoe.
“The motorcyclist has been taken to hospital. The road is closed.”
A Traffic Scotland post read: “The A82 is closed to all traffic, at Glencoe, due to a road traffic incident.
“Road users are advised to use an alternative route and expect longer than normal journey times.”
