A missing man who was last seen in a boiler suit and wellies on the Isle of Bute has been traced “safe and well”.

Thomas McMillan was last seen at around 9am on Friday in the Eskechraggan Farm area, near the B878 west of Rothesay.

Police said on Saturday morning the 51-year-old had been traced “safe and well”.

Officers thanked members of the public for their assistance.
