A man has been taken to hospital, and a suspect was arrested following a two-vehicle crash in the Highlands on Friday.
Emergency services were called to the A835 at Gorston junction near Garve at around 2.30pm after reports of a collision involving a blue Volkswagen Amarok and a white Peugeot Partner van.
A 60-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. Officers arrested a 40-year-old man in connection with a road traffic offence.
An investigation to establish the full circumstances is ongoing.
Sergeant Kate Finlayson said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us.
“We’d also ask anyone with dash-cam footage that could assist our enquiries to come forward.”
