A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman at a property in the Highlands.
Police were called to Morrison Court in Dornoch around 4.40pm on Saturday, February 21, following the death of a 46-year-old woman.
A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection.
Daniel Sutherland appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court on Thursday, where he was charged with murder.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
He will appear before the court within eight days.
