Google MapsA man has been charged following a serious assault in a home in the Outer Hebrides on Sunday.
Emergency services received reports of an attack on a 26-year-old man at a property on India Street in Stornoway on November 24.
Officers have since arrested and charged another 23-year-old man in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Stornoway Sheriff Court on Tuesday, November 26.
A police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers in Stornoway have arrested and charged a 23-year-old man in connection with a serious assault.
“It follows the assault of a 26-year-old man at a property in India Street on Sunday, November 24, 2024.
“The 23-year-old man is due to appear at Stornoway Sheriff Court on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.”
