A man has appeared in court charged with assaulting two paramedics by spitting at them.
Sean Macleod was charged with assault and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
The 26-year-old appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court on Saturday, where he made no plea.
He was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
Mr Macleod will next appear in court within eight days.
