A man and a woman have been charged after more than £90,000 of drugs were seized from a vehicle in the Highlands on Saturday.
Road policing officers, acting on intelligence, intercepted a car on the A9 near Tain at around 4.40pm.
MDMA, with an estimated street value of £80,000, and cocaine, worth around £12,900, were found in the vehicle.
A 39-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with the recovery and will appear at court at a later date.
Constable Connor Milne, of the Highlands and Islands Road Policing Unit, said: “This is a significant recovery and demonstrates our continued efforts to disrupt the supply of illegal drugs and reduce the harm they cause in our communities.
“It also highlights our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy, working with partners to target those involved in such activity.
“We rely on information from the public to support our work, and anyone with concerns about drugs in their area can contact Police Scotland on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
