A major road has been closed after a two-vehicle crash in the Highlands.
The incident took place on the A9 between Daviot and Moy on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services attended the scene at around 4.15pm and the road has been closed in both directions since.
Drivers have been urged to avoid the area and use alternative routes if possible.
Police Scotland released a statement saying: “The A9 is closed in both directions between Daviot and Moy due to a two-vehicle crash, which was reported around 4.15pm on Saturday.
“Emergency services are in attendance.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use an alternative route if possible.”
