Landslip closes part of West Highland rail line

A landslip in Argyll has closed a section of railway line.

The West Highland Line between Fort William and Crianlarich was closed on Monday after the landslip.

The debris was discovered near Bridge of Orchy.

ScotRail, Caledonian Sleeper and freight services have been affected.

Network Rail said its team is currently on-site and assessing the damage to the tracks.

It said it expects the line to remain closed all of Monday.

ScotRail said it was working on securing replacement transportation
