Inverness Airport has reopened after an emergency involving an inbound aircraft on Sunday.
A statement was issued just before 2pm regarding the closure of the Highland travel hub due to an “ongoing incident”.
Operators, Highland and Islands Airports Limited, has confirmed the emergency related to an inbound aircraft.
There were no reported injuries, and it is now back to operating as normal.
A spokesperson said, “We can confirm that an emergency involving an inbound aircraft was declared at Inverness Airport this afternoon.
“No injuries were reported and the airport is now open again with flights operating as normal. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to passengers and thank them for their patience while the incident was ongoing.”
