Inverness Airport has been closed on Sunday due to an “ongoing incident”.
According to the Highlands and Islands Airports Limited Group website, flights have been delayed from 2pm onwards.
A post on the travel hub’s social media account confirmed that it will remain closed until 4pm due to an ongoing incident.
The nature of the incident is not yet known.
The statement read: “Inverness Airport is closed until approximately 4pm due to an ongoing incident. We advise passengers to contact their airline for the latest flight updates before travelling.”
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
