Inverness sheriff Gary Aitken has adjourned a fatal accident inquiry into a fish farm worker’s death, describing his loss as “a significant incident with a tragic outcome”.
Clive Hendry, 58, was crushed between two vessels at Mowi’s Ardintoul site on Loch Alsh, four years ago.
Written submissions from legal teams representing The Crown, the company and Mr Hendry’s partner will be heard on June 12.
The court will determine the cause of death, what precautions might have been taken and what precautions could be implemented in the future.
Mowi Scotland pled guilty to health and safety breaches committed at Inverness Sheriff Court in May 2023 and were fined £800,000.
