Increasing concern for welfare of missing 24-year-old man in Ardersier as police appeal to public Police Scotland

Concern is growing for a 24-year-old man who has been reported missing from near Inverness.

Jay Macrae was last seen at around 3pm on Wednesday, January 4, in the Station Drive area of Ardersier.

He is described as being 6ft tall and of medium build, with short brown hair.

When he was last seen he was wearing a black padded jacket and blue Adidas trainers.

Sergeant Martyn Cameron of Burnett Road police station said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Jay’s welfare and are asking for the help of the public to help trace him.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact police via 101 quoting incident number 2127 of Wednesday, January 4, 2023.
