Hunt for two suspects after man attacked outside Stornoway takeaway

Police in Stornoway are hunting for two suspects after a man was attacked outside a takeaway.

The incident occurred outside Big Bite takeaway on Point Street at around 1.15am on Sunday, when a man was assaulted by two others.

A Police Scotland statement read: “If you witnessed the assault, local officers would like to speak to you.

“If you have any information in relation to this incident, you can contact Police on 101 or using the “Contact Us” form on the Police Scotland website https://orlo.uk/9FmhG

“Reports can be made anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.“
