Hundreds of pounds have been stolen from a shop after a break-in at premises in Inverness.

The incident happened at the premises on East Lewiston between 5pm on Monday, October 28, and 7am on October 29.

Police are urging anyone with information regarding the break-in to come forward.

Detective constable Tyler Beverly said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any private CCTV or dash cam footage to contact us.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident 0541 of October 29, or alternatively Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where you can remain anonymous.”
