Train services have been cancelled after a person was struck on the line.

Emergency services were called to the track between Dingwall and Invergordon at around 7am on Friday.

Services between Inverness and Wick/Kyle of Lochalsh are subject to delay, cancellation or revision due to the incident.

Ticket acceptance is in place with Stagecoach from Inverness to Wick.

The nature of any injuries are currently not known.

ScotRail said: “We are working closely with emergency services during this time and will keep you updated.”
