A fisherman has died after falling down a gorge in the Highlands.
Emergency services were called to Oykel Bailey Bridge in Sutherland at around 10.50pm on Monday.
The coastguard was told a fisherman had fallen into a gully and sent rescue teams and a helicopter.
However, a 68-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
