A person was taken to hospital after being cut from their car by firefighters after a two-vehicle crash near Loch Ness.
Officers were called to the scene of a crash involving two cars on the A82 near Dochgarroch at around 1.20pm on Wednesday.
Crews from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service released one person who had become trapped in their vehicle before they were taken to Raigmore Hospital.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.20pm on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, we were called to a report of a crash involving two vehicles on the A82 near Dochgarroch.
“Emergency services are currently in attendance and the road is closed in both directions.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 1.23pm on Wednesday, September 11 to reports of a road traffic collision in Dochgarroch, near Inverness.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to the A82, where firefighters helped release one casualty who had become trapped in their vehicle.
“The casualty was thereafter transported to Raigmore Hospital by Scottish Ambulance Service personnel.
“Firefighters left the scene after working to make the area safe.”
