Firefighters are continuing to battle a large blaze at a farm building near an airfield in the Highlands.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews were alerted to a fire affecting a large farm building on Fearn Airfield Road in Easter Ross around 9.20am on Wednesday.
Six fire engines and specialist resources were sent to the scene at the height of the fire near the former naval airbase.
Images on social media showed the building largely destroyed by the fire.
Peter JollyCrews worked to extinguish the fire, but two appliances remain on the scene to carry out dampening down operations as of 10am on Thursday.
There are no reported casualties, crews said.
Residents in the area were asked to keep their windows and doors closed due to a large plume of smoke.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Two fire appliances remain at the scene on Thursday, June 11, and are carrying out dampening down operations.
“At its height, six fire appliances and specialist resources were mobilised to Fearn Airfield Road, Easter Ross, at 9.20am on Wednesday, June 10.
“Crews worked to extinguish the fire affecting a large farm building.
“There are no reported casualties.”
