Firefighters are battling a large blaze at a farm building near an airfield in the Highlands.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service says crews are currently battling a fire affecting a large farm building on Fearn Airfield Road in Easter Ross.
Six fire appliances and specialist resources are currently at the scene near the former naval airbase.
Crews were alerted around 9.20am on Wednesday.
Residents in the area are being asked to keep their windows and doors closed due to a large plume of smoke.
Peter JollyA Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We are currently dealing with a fire affecting a large farm building on Fearn Airfield Road, Easter Ross.
“Those living in the area were asked to keep their windows and doors closed due to a large plume of smoke.
“Six fire appliances and specialist resources are currently at the scene.”
