Fire crews battled a blaze at an industrial estate in Tain following reports of an “explosion” at the facility.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said four appliances had been dispatched to the Fearn Industrial Estate following the incident on Thursday afternoon.
The cause of the fire is not yet known and crews remain on the scene.
There are no reported casualties, the SFRS said.
A spokesperson added: “We were alerted at 12.17pm on Thursday, August 17 to reports of a building fire at Fearn Industrial Estate, Tain.
“Operations Control mobilised four appliances and specialist resources to the scene where firefighters are continuing to extinguish a fire affecting the premises.
“There are no reported casualties and crews remain on scene.”
The SFRS later confirmed all firefighters had left the scene by 5pm.
