​Emergency services were called to a collision between a car and cyclist on Saturday.

Police and ambulance crews were alerted to the crash on Caulfield Road in Inverness at around 2.25pm on November 9.

Officers issued the driver with a fixed penalty notice. It is not yet known whether anyone was injured during the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.25pm on Saturday, November 9, 2024, police received a report of a crash on Caulfield Road, Inverness, involving a car and a cyclist.

“Emergency services attended and the car driver was issued with a fixed penalty notice for a road traffic offence.”

The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
