A man is in hospital in a serious condition after an e-scooter crash in Inverness.

Emergency services were called around 10.40pm on Tuesday to the collision on Grant Street at the junction with Lochalsh Road.

The rider of the e-scooter, a 33-year-old man, was taken to hospital, where his condition is described as serious.

Sergeant Calum MacAulay said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us.

“We’d also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage which could assist our enquiries to come forward.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 3590 of Tuesday, June 9, 2026.”
