Cruise passenger snaps 'inexplicable' photo at Loch Ness

Sharon Herbert's picture has been added to the Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register

A cruise passenger has taken an “inexplicable” photo at Loch Ness.

Sharon Herbert, from Kent, was out on the water near Glen Urquhart Castle when she took a photograph from the boat.

In the bottom right of the image, a mysterious green shadow was visible just under the surface, and there were some ripples in the water too.

Experts have said they can’t explain what it is.

It’s been added to the Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register and it’s the sixth such sighting this year.

Going way back to when something was first spotted in the loch in 565 AD, it makes it the 1,172 sighting of something in Loch Ness.
