A busy section of the A9 has been closed following a crash between a lorry and a car in the Highlands.
Four fire engines were dispatched to the scene, between Granish and Aviemore, at around 6.07pm on Monday.
It is currently unknown if there have been any injuries reported as a result of the incident.
Police have closed down the carriageway in both directions.
Traffic Scotland advised motorists to avoid the area if possible and to use the local diversion.
Ambulances and police remain at the scene, and fire crews received the stop signal at 7.23pm.
An SFRS spokeswoman said: “We were alerted at 6.07pm on June 19 to reports of a road traffic collision on the A9 between Granish and Aviemore.
“Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances to the scene.
“The stop message was received at 7.23pm.”
A Police Scotland tweet read: “Police Scotland would like to advise that due to a crash, there is a road closure on the A9 between Aviemore and Granish. The carriageway is closed in both directions.
“Diversions are in place and the public are asked to avoid the area if possible.”
