A serious crash between a car and a lorry has closed the A9, with a number of diversions in place.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at Dalmagarry, south of Inverness, at around 6.05am on Friday.
It is unknown if there have been any injuries as a result of the collision.
Local diversions are in place and drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.05 am on Friday, May 26, we received a report of crash involving a car and a lorry on the A9 near Dalmagarry.
“Emergency services are in attendance and a number of road closures are in place.
“The public are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes.”
