'Concerns growing' for welfare of missing 49-year-old man

‘Concerns growing’ for welfare of missing 49-year-old man from Lamlash in Isle of Arran Police Scotland

An appeal has been launched to trace a 49-year-old man missing on the Isle of Arran.

Mariusz Robert Batyra was last seen in the St Molios Park area of Lamlash at around 7.40am on June 29.

He is described as white, around 5ft 10in tall, with a stocky build and brown greying hair.

Mr Batyra was last seen wearing grey shorts, a blue jumper/hoodie and a blue/navy Nike rucksack.

Inspector Michael Cowan said: “Concerns are growing for Mariusz’ welfare and we want to make sure he is safe and well.

“I am appealing for anyone who has seen Mariusz or who has any information on his whereabouts to please contact us.”
