A child has been taken to hospital after a collision involving a vehicle and a cyclist on Tuesday in Inverness.
Emergency services were called to King Brude Road, between Scorguie Road and Clachnaharry Road, at around 7.10pm following reports of a crash.
The child, who was riding the bike, has been taken to Raigmore hospital for treatment.
Road users have been urged to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “King Brude Road in Inverness is closed between Scorguie Road and Clachnaharry Road following a crash involving a vehicle and a cyclist.
“Emergency services were called around 7.10pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area.”
