The body of a 22-year-old has been recovered after a search was launched after a man fell into Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye.
Emergency services, including Skye Mountain Rescue Teams, were called to the scene near Carbost when the alarm was raised at around 3pm on Thursday.
Police have confirmed the body of a 22-year-old man was recovered at around 12.10pm on Friday.
All earlier road closures have now been lifted.
Formal identification is yet to take place but his family have been informed.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.10pm on Friday, May 19, the body of a man was found in the Fairy Pools, near Carbost, Skye.
“The family of a 22-year-old man who fell in the water on Thursday, 18 May, has been informed.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. Earlier road closures have been lifted.”
