A body has been found in the search for a missing hillwalker who was taking on three Munros in the Ben Lawers mountain range.
Adam Chalmers had been planning to complete Meall Greigh, Meall Garbh and An Stuc on Saturday.
The 36-year-old was last in contact with loved ones around 12.40pm to let them know he had only one Munro left. He was reported missing after failing to return.
Police confirmed that the body of a man was recovered in the An Stuc area around 1.25pm on Sunday.
The family of Mr Chalmers have been made aware.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Adam’s family wishes to thank Police Scotland, Tayside Mountain Rescue, RAF Mountain Rescue and all the agencies involved in the searches.”
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
