The body of a missing hillwalker who was last seen over a month ago has been found on the Isle of Skye.
Police made the discovery during a search for Matthias Beutin near Coire Dubh, Blaven at around 2.15pm on Saturday afternoon.
The 57-year-old, who had planned to climb Bla Bheinn, was reported missing on Thursday, October 9.
Formal identification has now taken place, and his family have been informed of the find.
Officers investigating the death say it is being treated as unexplained but not believed to be suspicious.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
