Police ScotlandA body has been found in the search for a missing woman in the Outer Hebrides.
The body of a woman was found in the Aird area of Benbecula at around 1.05pm on Sunday.
Police said formal identification has yet to take place but the family of missing woman Shanahan MacInnes has been made aware.
The 28-year-old was reported missing after she was last seen at around 1.30am on November 22 on Tindall Road in Balivanich.
The force said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
