Police are appealing for information after a serious crash near Loch Ness left five people in hospital.
The collision occurred around 4.30pm on Monday on the A82 between Invermoriston and Drumnadrochit, and involved a grey Audi A4 and a blue Nissan Qashqai.
Emergency services attended and the driver of one car and the four occupants of the second vehicle were taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment.
The conditions of those injured is currently unknown.
The road was closed for around two hours to allow officers to carry out investigations.
Police are now appealing for information or dashcam footage.
Sergeant Douglas Scott, from the Dingwall Road Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who saw the crash and who has not already spoken to officers to get in touch.
“I would also ask anyone with dash-cam footage who was in the area around the time to contact us as it may assist our enquiries.”
