Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash on the A87 on Skye after a man died in hospital.
Officers were called to the scene of the single-car collision near Breakish around 9.50pm on Monday, December 2 involving a blue Volkswagen Golf.
Emergency services attended and the 39-year-old male driver of the car was taken to Broadford Hospital where he died a short time later.
Two passengers, a 19-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, were also taken to Broadford Hospital for treatment and later discharged.
The road was closed for around eight hours to allow enquiries to be carried out.
Police are searching for dash cam footage or anyone who saw the car prior to the crash to come forward.
Sergeant Christopher Donaldson said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died at this difficult time.
“Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the crash to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who saw the car prior to the crash or who has dash cam footage which may assist to get in touch.”
