Four people have been taken to hospital following a single-vehicle crash on a major road.
Emergency services were called at around 4.30pm on Sunday to reports of a collision on the A9 near Dalwhinnie.
The road was closed for several hours before reopening at 7.30pm.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 4.30pm on Sunday officers were called to a report of a crash involving a single car on the A9 near Dalwhinnie.
“Four people were taken to hospital and the road reopened shortly before 7.30pm after the vehicle was recovered.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 16:49 on 16 July 2023 to attend a one car RTC on the A9 at Dalwhinnie.
“We dispatched multiple resources to the scene and four patients were transported to Raigmore Hospital.”
